# $TRIM Token

## Get $TRIM

$TRIM is a nontransferable token that can only be earned by staking your $HRVST.  

$HRVST can be staked either directly with the CryptoGrow Staking Contract or through a decentralized exchange's Liquidity Pool.  Each option presents its own risks and rewards.

## Use $TRIM

### Buy Tickets

Holders of $TRIM can use the token to purchase two different types of Tickets.  The more TRIM you have, the more Tickets you can buy, and the better your chance of winning valuable prizes!  

### Trade Tickets

*Unlike $TRIM, **CryptoGrow** Tickets are transferable, meaning you can sell or trade them with other users freely on the blockchain!*

### Raffle Tickets

Raffle Tickets can be entered into routine Raffles, giving you an opportunity to win free merchandise and experiences -- like Avatar Wearables, smoking equipment, dispensary gift cards, and cannabis farm tours! 

 

### Drop Tickets

Drop Tickets can be entered into NFT Raffles, giving you an opportunity to win free NFTs!  These NFTs may be internal to the CryptoGrow ecosystem, like an Avatar or Grow NFT, or they may be from one of our many project partners -- the sky's the limit!

### Raffle Process

All Raffles will be open for a set period of time. During this period, you can submit your tickets for a chance to win prizes. Submitting tickets into the draw involves a transaction on-chain; it is not done automatically. 

### Winner Selection

Each prize will be allocated to a randomly drawn raffle ticket, where each ticket has an equal chance of winning.  Random numbers for the Raffle prize winners are generated through Chainlink's [on-chain verifiable randomness generator](https://blog.chain.link/verifiable-random-functions-vrf-random-number-generation-rng-feature).

When the raffle is over, you can find out what, if any, prizes you have won and can claim them on chain!
